itinerary
“Sunset with boat navigation” is an afternoon tour to the Perito Moreno Glacier including navigation, transfer and a visit to the walkways. The tour begins when our guides pick up passengers at their hotels at 14:00 hs with our comfortable buses, towards Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. The one hour and a half tour will be guided both in Spanish and in English, with interesting information about this unique glacier before arriving to the place.
At Puerto Bajo las Sombras, located at 71 km from the city of El Calafate, our new catamaran Andiperla for 140 passengers will be waiting. At 16:00 hs, the Safari Náutico will begin, navigating one hour along the Rico Branch of the Lago Argentino. From the inside of the ship, as well as from its impressive main deck, you’ll be able to see the huge ice walls and enjoy the closest and most exclusive view of the place where the ice breaks off. Passengers will also have the chance to see incredible ice calving from the 60-meter high towers and hear the thunderous noise they make.
At the end of the navigation, and always accompanied by our guides, you’ll visit the walkways in front of the glacier at 17:30 hs. At that time, most visitors will have left the Park and you’ll have a much more pleasant, unique and inspiring experience. At the walkways, you’ll have two hours to walk along the different paths and enjoy the delightful panoramic views of the glacier.
At sunset, you’ll return to El Calafate through the Magellanic Forest, the golden Patagonian Steppe and the Lago Argentino. On the way back, we’ll make a stop to see the most incredible colors at sunset. Finally, passengers will be back at their hotels at approx. 21:00 hs.
“Pasarela Náutica” is a tour every person can enjoy, as no special efforts are required beyond walking along the walkways.
Get connected with the most beautiful glacier of the world and go back home with the Patagonian sunset in your memory.
